The House Fund is a funnel.

We aren’t a bank. Or an investment strategy.

We are a money laundry.

In a prison system, all money is blood money.

Whether we are prisoners or guards (workers or owners), we’re still in prison.

We still have to work to live.

That’s not freedom. It’s slavery.

The House Fund frees the money.

We transfer it to post-system community builders—people like us —creating spaces like ours.

In no time, the prison system loses its appeal.

And the garden—the playground—is remembered.

We guarantee peer-to-peer transfers.

Instead of the funds going to for-profit or not-for-profit entities—two ends of the same closed loop—we give it to post-system people.

These are folks who are part of the Our House network, or who would like to be, if they had the resources.

Our personal vision is to buy up houses and commercial buildings here in Birmingham and provide free communal spaces throughout the county.

The last goes first is our prime directive.

House Fund transfers are 100% transparent.

There are no secrets at Our House.

We want the network to be highly visible, and news of Our House communities, around the world, to spread easily.

Every core member of the Birmingham house is represented.

We accept funds in whatever way is easiest for you.

It all goes through the same funnel.
